Installation Guide
VeyraShade products are designed for homeowner installation. Your shipment includes mounting hardware and product-specific instructions. Allow about 20–45 minutes per window for a first-time install, depending on product type.
Before you start
- Unpack and confirm each item matches your order table labels (e.g. "Primary Bedroom — Left").
- Check the frame or wall surface is solid enough for screws or brackets.
- For motorized units, plan power — outlet location for plug-in motors or charging access for lithium battery models.
- Read the instruction sheet included with your product before drilling.
Tools you'll typically need
- Phillips and flat-head screwdrivers
- Drill with appropriate bits (pilot holes where recommended)
- Level and pencil
- Steel tape measure
- Step stool or ladder for tall windows
General steps
1. Mark bracket positions
Use your approved mount type (inside or outside). Level the headrail or brackets before marking screw holes.
2. Mount hardware
Install brackets or a mounting plate per the included diagram. Do not overtighten — brackets should sit flush and secure.
3. Snap in the shade
Most roller, zebra, honeycomb, and roman shades clip or slide into the mounted brackets. Test lift and lower before final adjustments.
4. Program motors (if applicable)
Motorized shades: set upper and lower limits per instructions, pair remotes or apps, and connect smart home protocols if ordered.
Product-specific notes
Roller / Zebra / Roman
Valance covers may install separately. Cordless models have tension settings — follow the included guide for smooth operation.
Honeycomb
Recessed mounts sit flush in the frame — confirm depth before screwing brackets. Day & night dual fabrics have two independent sections.
Dream Shades
Vane alignment and motor pairing are covered in the motor instruction sheet. Allow extra time for wide spans.
Motorized Drapery
Track mounts to wall or ceiling. Plan stack-back clearance at each end. Curtain panels may ship separately from the track.
